Survey Route: Bideford – Lundy

Loads of Silver Y moth and a couple of Hummingbird Hawk-moth were flitting around the flowers

A Starling with a blue colour-ring L7H on its leg was busy picking up crumbs around the tables. It is one of the island’s breeding birds and was ringed in June 2023

The return crossing was very quiet, with fewer Manx Shearwater and just a couple of pairs of father and young Guillemot
